The Strongest Guy

A fierce typhoon hit the Kanto region about this time last year.
The meteorological agency issued a high alert before making landfall,
so I prepared for the worst.
I stuck duct tape to the windows which had no shutters
in order to prevent pieces of broken glass from scattering around.
When the huge typhoon approached the region where I live,
the winds and rain got harder and harder.
The sound of the incredibly heavy storm made me scared.
I thought that my house might be blown away by the terrible wind.
It was really a horrible moment I had rarely experienced.
Fortunately, I found my house intact after the storm had passed.
But there were some other places which was damaged severely.
I feel like typhoons are getting stronger and stronger year after year.
As you know, the record strongest typhoon is approaching southwestern Japan today.
What will this typhoon bring to my country?
I hope all the citizens will be OK.
