英語ニュースの文法や構造は、簡潔で読みやすいものになっています。
NHK World の最近の見出しの一つを見てみましょう。

be 動詞やピリオドはありませんよね。
このように、英語ニュースの見出しには独特の書き方があります。
過去のことを現在形で書くことや、冠詞や be 動詞の省略もあります。
記事構成は「逆三角形型構造」で書かれていることが多いです。
見出しの後に、5W1Hなどの重要な情報を述べます（リード文）。
次により詳しい情報や背景を説明します。
副詞に着目する
文が長くなるため、副詞の使用を控えることを推奨する人もいます。
（動詞＋副詞を、別の一語の動詞で表すなど）
しかし、覚えておくと役に立つ副詞もあります。
今回はニュースの副詞に着目して、使われ方を見ていきましょう。
うまく副詞一単語で表すと、報道らしい表現になります。
あわせて、別の表現に言い換える方法の一例も示しました。
単語数は増えますが、少し簡単な単語に置き換えられていると思います。
言い換え方は一つに決まらず、いろいろあるのがふつうです。
